Saturday mornings are so delicious, in the same way that the first few licks of an icecream taste so much better than the last. This one was spent in Pawtuxet, which means "Little Falls" in the language of the Narragansett Indians, the original inhabitants of the area. On this same land Rhode Island patriots attacked and burned the Brittish Gaspee ship in 1772. Today it was simply the air we breathed together and the pavement over which we happily darted from treasure to treasure.

you have captured the moment here.
i also love the way you captured the woman's expression. your positioning on the flower photo is striking.
Love the photos. You certainly wrote a lot with your camera, and we were there with you.
beautiful afternoon sheila!
Oh, a treasured Saturday stroll!
That woman reminds me of my favorite actress in one of my favorite films. Her hair is a bit dishevelled but still glam at her age ;-)
sounds like a beautiful saturday! and such wonderful pictures!
Wonderful wandering - love, love it!
