Some things flourish inwardly, like flowers grown backwards into the earth. I have a dark garden in here, I think to myself sometimes. Once a week for an hour we pull weeds and open the window to the sun. We continue to wait upon the rain.

I love the imagery that you see in life, simply and beautifully put.

I think seeing the dark internal places as a garden is a wonderful way to put it. I imagine mine like a box or chest. Sometimes I unpack some of the contents and look at them in the light of day. Sometimes not all the stuff goes back in. Some get to live out in the light afterwards. Some things need to go back in for a while. If the box is ever empty, I'll be healed. Like your garden when the rains come?

We continue to wait upon the rain... Somehow though I sense the clouds approaching and I can hear the thunder sometimes when it rumbles in my mind.
