Ever seen Drop Dead Fred?

Lizzie's imaginary friend, Fred, offers support and companionship while helping her make an even bigger mess of her life...until she kills him off by swallowing a pill each day.

This afternoon I am awaiting a call in order to set up a first appointment for therapy, and I can't help but feel that with each appointment I will slowly be erasing you from my life.

Anyone would agree that you are not healthy for me. What they don't realize, however, is all of the support and companionship you've provided over these years. How can such a dear friend, the one I love with such passion, the one who has been such a solid presence in my life...

be allowed to die?
